LUCILA MONZON PALMA July 22, 1919 - March 25, 2011 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on Friday, March 25, 2011, at the Seven Oaks General Hospital. Lucila is survived by her four daughters - Norma (Rogelio Acuna), Julie (Roger Aguirre), Lucita (Manny Manuel) and Emmie (Gani Casalla); five sons - Angelito, Ceasar (Delia), Rolly (Normie), Brando (Cherrie) and Sublanto Jr (Zeny); 23 grandchildren and; 25 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Sublanto Palma Sr. and daughter Gloria. Viewing will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2011, and Friday, April 1, 2011, from 7:00 p.m. - midnight at Glen Lawn Funeral Home on 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., Winnipeg, MB. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 1:00 p.m., at the St. Edward Church, 818 Arlington St., Winnipeg. Interment will take place at Lucila's hometown in Imus, Cavite, Philippines. The family wishes to thank the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for their kindness and support, including the Dialysis unit, units 4 and 5 on the 3rd Flr. and, the WRHA Homecare staff who helped take care of our mother for many years.
