MARGARET MCKENNA (nee Simpson) August 30, 1930 - March 22, 2011 Marg passed away at The Holy Family Nursing Home after her struggle with Alzheimer's disease. Marg was born and raised in England and moved to Canada as an army bride in the 1950s. Together with her husband Bob and their Dachshund kids, they lived in Germany and all over Canada making many lifelong friends along the way. In most recent years they settled once again in the Winnipeg area. Marg was predeceased by her parents and brother when she was a toddler and was cared for by her family in England. Marg was also predeceased by her husband Bob in 2005, in-laws Robert and Ida McKenna, Ronnie McKenna, Don Savage, Dorothy and Larry Shapiro. Aunty Marg is survived by family and friends, all who miss her sense of humour and how she loved all her English' treats. Alzheimer's cannot take away the memories we have of our Aunty Marg. Thank you to all the caring staff at Holy Family St. Francis ward for their compassion over the past five years. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
