STELLA PINSONNEAULT (nee REWUTZSKY) Peacefully on March 28, 2011, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, Stella Pinsonneault passed away at Foyer Valade at the age of 97, with her family by her side. With many cherished memories, Stella will be greatly missed by her two sons: Hervé (Bev) and Roger; four daughters: Orese (Tony) Miazga, Jeannette Lofto, Alice Dandenault, Doris Massicotte (Arleigh Luchsinger); their extended families and by numerous relatives and friends. Stella was predeceased by her husband Henri; son-in-law Gilbert Dandenault; daughter-in-law Eileen Pinsonneault; three brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law. Stella was born in Winnipeg on February 19, 1914 and her family moved to Sarto, MB when she was one year old. She was orphaned at the age of 14 and started working for several families in St. Pierre and Ste. Agathe where she met her husband Henri. In 1974 they sold the farm and moved to Winnipeg. She worked in Housekeeping at St. Boniface Hospital for a number of years. Stella was always willing to help others. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting. Her favourite time of year was berry picking and gardening. She was known for making the best cabbage rolls and perogies, which were every one's favourites. We would like to thank the staff at Foyer Valade for the wonderful care that Stella received. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 4, at 2:00 p.m. in Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald St., with reception to follow. The Coutu family in care of arrangements: E. J. COUTU CO.
