She leaves to mourn her memory, her loving husband Eduardo B Samon Sr. Socorro also leaves to cherish her memory, her children Clarita Benitez, Rolando Samonte, Visitacion Samonte, Perlita (Delfin) Castillejo of the Philippines, Erlinda Ziegler of (Austria), Sandra Terania, sisters Maxima Mapagu of the Philippines and Angeles Avena of Chicago, Illinois, grandchildren Susana (Agripino) Ramirez and great-grandchildren Hazel (Alliah) Ramirez of Winnipeg and all in the Philippines, nieces and nephews in the Philippines, Australia and the United States. Viewing will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. followed by prayers at 8:00 p.m. in the Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd. with Reverend Father Rainerio Sarce.
