ROSE LETWIN (YAREMA) Peacefully, on Thursday morning, March 31, 2011 surrounded by her family, our Mother, Rose Letwin (Yarema) passed away. Rose was born on May 15, 1931 in Sifton, Manitoba. She was married for 50 years and had four children. Our Mother owned and operated a small sewing factory for 25 years under the name Rosedale Sportswear. After retirement our Mother continued to sew and do crafts for her own enjoyment, and was particularly fond of crocheting afghans and creating patchwork quilts. In the summer months she especially enjoyed gardening. The garden at our home in Southdale was admired by friends and neighbours. There was always something to delight the eye, from the first blooms of spring to the vibrant colours in the fall. Rose is survived by her children Glen (Wilmy), James, Karen (Jeff Levack); sister Betty Bayomi (Julius); sister-in-law Sylvia Yarema; brother-in-law Murray Jordan. Rose was predeceased by her husband Richard; son Allan; sisters Marion, Effie, Ollie, Pauline, Verna, and Stella; brothers Steve and Ernie. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 8, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rose's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. We would like to extend special thanks to the nursing staff of Saint Boniface Hospital for their care and kindness. Mom and Dad are now happy together guiding us from the heavens above. We love you.
