PATRICIA ALICE DAWSON (nee MCLEOD) July 3, 1952 - April 8, 2011 It is with great sadness we announce that after a lengthy battle with cancer, Patricia peacefully passed away surrounded by family. She is survived by her husband Robert; daughters Reanne and Heather (Byron); parents Kenneth and Nellie McLeod (nee Kolesar); siblings Barbara Caumartin (Aurele) and David McLeod (Suzanne). Patti preferred the home life. She kept busy with her favourite pastimes of gardening and reading. She also enjoyed music, sewing, and researching the family's genealogy. As per Patricia's wish, no formal service will take place, but a graveside service will be held Saturday, May 28th at 1:00 p.m. at the Argyle Cemetery in Argyle, MB. We are grateful to Dr. Czaykowski and all the nurses at CancerCare Manitoba for their extraordinary care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, www.cancercare.mb.ca.
