Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLINDA ANNE MCNAUGHTON December 2, 1949 - April 11, 2011 Linda McNaughton, of Clandeboye, Manitoba, passed away suddenly on Monday, April 11 at the Selkirk General Hospital at the age of 62. She was predeceased by her mother, Joanne Bateman; her loving husband of 26 years, Terry McNaughton; aunt Mary McNamara; uncle Stanley Kowal, and by father-in-law William (Bill) McNaughton. She is survived by her uncle Des McNamara; mother-in-law Jean McNaughton; her step-daughter Janice McNaughton (Derrick), grandchildren Terrin, Devin, Jaedan, and great-granddaughter Charity; step-daughter Debbie Savard (Gerry), grandchildren Dustin (Christy), Breanne (Aaron) and great-grandchildren Jordan, Jade, and Spencer. She is also survived by sister-in-law Linda Conner, Morgan, Amber Marie, special cousins, and her cherished Mr. Mc. Linda was born and raised in Winnipeg. She was a conscientious worker who took pride in her places of employment at Red River College and various positions within the Province of Manitoba. She retired in 2005 to be with Terry after his diagnosis with cancer. She loved the sun, gardening, reading, pictures, entertaining with family and friends, and most of all she enjoyed travelling and life on the boat with her soul-mate Terry. After Terry's passing, Lyn moved into her new modular home that Terry and her had planned together in Master's Subdivision. She helped her new neighbours, Gary and Marina Douglas with the care of Marina's parents and become a very loved part of their family. Lyn continued to enjoy the outdoor life, cooking and doing anything for anybody. As Lyn acted during her years of employment, she continued to manage in her retirement years. Lyn, we will miss you forever and your love will never be forgotten. Mr. Mc (Schmickie) will be loved and cared for in his new home. A celebration of Lyn's life was held on Friday April 15, 2011. As per Lyn's wishes, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Cancer Care Manitoba.
