(Dick) McLeod of Manitowaning, ON, suddenly passed away at the Sudbury Regional Hospital, Sudbury, ON on April 6, 2011. Dick was born and raised in Brandon on January 6, 1945 to Norman and Ruth McLeod. He started his career in the grocery business at the North Hill IGA, Brandon, then moved to Winnipeg for a short time before moving to Ear Falls, then Red Lake, ON where he owned and operated the Red Lake IGA for many years. After selling the business he moved to Hillsdale, ON for a short time, before moving to Manitowaning, ON, where he purchased another grocery store, where he lived and worked until his untimely passing. Dick was predeceased by his parents, Norman and Ruth; as well as a daughter Tammy; and a granddaughter Darcie. Dick is survived by his wife Cathy; son Todd (Kim); daughter Traci; and grandchildren, Kari Lynn, Tyler, Brandon and Jeremy. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Robert, Tara, Jessica and their families; as well as his loving sister Sharon (Dave) Willingham of Winnipeg; and their sons, Shaun and Chad. Memorial tributes may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Arrangements by Bourcier Funeral Home, Espanola, ON.
