DOROTHY ELSIE EASTWOOD 1925 - 2011 Dorothy died on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at her residence - Rideau Park Personal Care Home, Brandon, Manitoba. She was predeceased by her parents Jack Allan and Lillian Alice Eastwood. She is survived by her sister June Eastwood of Winnipeg. Dorothy was born in Winnipeg at the Misericordia Hospital on October 5, 1925. She attended school at Glenwood and Norberry schools. On graduating from high school she worked for the Provincial Government as a secretary. Dorothy loved to sing and belonged to the T. Eatons Good Deed Radio choir. She also sang in the church choir. Dorothy left Winnipeg and resided in Brandon until her death. Donations in memory of Dorothy may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7. A private graveside service to celebrate Dorothy's life was held at Brookside Cemetery.
