RENEE MARION (nee CATELLIER) September 20, 1913 April 21, 2011 Peacefully at Repos Jolys in St. Pierre, on Thursday, April 21, 2011, our precious mother Renée Marion passed away at the age of 97. She will now be reunited in heaven with her husband Philippe (deceased August 2004) and a son Guay (deceased April 1962) and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children: Gilles (Rita); Hervé (Germaine); Roland (Olga); Richard; Daniel (Lena); Conrad (Carol); Dianne; Marcelle; Gabriel (Géraldine); Lise; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mom was born and raised in the St. Malo community. She and Dad were married on July 4, 1938. They lived many years in Dufrost where they were involved in many community activities while raising their 11 children. In 1960, Mom returned to the teaching profession, until her retirement. Mom had many gifts, compassion, generosity of spirit and the love for her family. Funeral Mass, presided by l'abbé Marcel Chaput, will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 11:00 a.m., in the St. Malo Roman Catholic Church. We wish to thank the staff at Chalet Malouin in St. Malo and at the Repos Jolys in St. Pierre-Jolys where Mom spent her twilight years. Thank you for caring.
