PETER KOWERCHUK Sticking to his own terms, peacefully, on April 25, 2011 at Maples Personal Care Home, Peter passed away at the age of 81. He leaves to mourn his passing his son Peter (Venita) of Toronto; son Richard of Toronto with grand- daughter Nicole and his daughter Carol-Anne of Winnipeg. He also leaves to mourn stepchildren Denise (Claude) of Winnipeg, Wayne of Oregon, Edwin (Heather) of Calgary, Diane (Harald) of Texas. He is lovingly remembered as Poppa by Conrad, Kirrie of Calgary, Tara, Aaron, Jeremy, Joseph, Trinity, Nicolina, of Texas, Jason Tim, Rachel, and Cody of Winnipeg. Peter was predeceased by his wife Helene (nee Hebert), his mother Annie Stachow, his brother Walter Kowarchuk and sister Minnie Pesclovitch. He is survived by his brother Joe Kowarchuk. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Friday, April 29, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Donations in Peter's memory may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association Manitoba / Nunavut Region, 200-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6.
