Born: Jan 21, 1924
Date of Passing: Apr 26, 2011
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN HENRY (JACK) STOTT January 21, 1924 - April 26, 2011 Our world lost a very good man today. After a frustrating partnership with Alzheimers, Dad left us peacefully but unwillingly. He was born, married, and lived in what he spoke of as The Best Place on Earth ... Canada, Manitoba, Niverville. Missing Jack, is his wife, soulmate, lover, and best friend ... not even Alzheimers could erase the memory of His Margaret . Although his body has left us, his character will live on in his children and beloved outlaws': Gary, Doris, Elaine, Art, Louise, Burt, Kevin, Marlene, Jeff, Mona, Michael, Ida, Donald, Laurie, and many generations of offspring. He will be deeply missed. Gone ahead of him are three of his children, Elizabeth, Jennifer, Raymond, and a special grandson Joey. His passions were family, friends, and farming. He loved parties, curling, dancing and hunting. His patriotism and dedication to his community were the foundation of his beliefs. Building a community where you could spend your whole life was his ambition, but that goal has not yet been reached. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the future Niverville Personal Care Home, C/O Niverville Heritage Centre Project, Unit 100-111 Second Ave S., Niverville, MB R0A 0A1. Funeral services will be held at the Heritage Centre, 100 Heritage Trail, Niverville, Manitoba on Tuesday, May 3 at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements by BIRCHWOOD FUNERAL CHAPEL 1-888-454-1030 or 1-204-346-1030
