EVELYN MAY BRYAN (nee KARATCHUK) July 16, 1948 - May 1, 2011 It is with great sadness our family announces the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother Evelyn May Bryan on Sunday, May 1, 2011. Surrounded by her loving family Evelyn went to join her brother Ryan and their mother Julia Karatchuk and father-in-law Archie Bryan. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her husband and soul mate of 37 years Robert. Her memory will be forever cherished by her children Robert (Jennifer), William (Karie), Jerry (Nikki), Cheryl (Allan) and grandchildren Nicholas, Julia, Axel, Ocean, Victoria, Kyra, Connor and expected soon, grandson Patrick. Treasured memories will be forever held in the hearts of her father Michael; brother Daryl; sisters Linda and Elaine; mother-in-law Ada Bryan; sisters-in-law Bev Suknacki and Jean Bryan; brother-in-law Patrick and numerous nieces and nephews. Evelyn was a special lady, devoted to her family and her love was unconditional through all time. She was always there whenever her family needed her and taught us love, compassion and patience. Evelyn found joy in the simple things, her home was her focal point. She was proud of her children and the antics of her grandchildren brought her immense joy. She was happy as long as her family was happy. We her family know that she will continue to watch over us with her kind and loving ways. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk with viewing taking place one hour prior to. Cremation will follow.
