She was born in Manchester, England and came to Winnipeg in her late teens. She worked for the Fisheries Department for the Manitoba Government until her retirement. She was a very private person and had requested no service and to give any donations to a charity of your choice. Interment at St. Vital Cemetery, May 4 at 10:00 a.m. Rest in peace, we will miss you and love you forever - your family and friends.

Miss Greaves was a true friend. Always kind and thoughtful to all who knew her. Her sense of humour was valued by her fiends and she always always made me laugh with her jokes and kidding around. She often reminisced about her family in England and their tribulations during World War II, and these and her other memories made it a pleasure to sit and talk with her. She also loved sports and one dare not interrupt her when watching her favorite tennis matches on television. :-) I will dearly miss her. - Posted by: Celestina Summers (Friend) on: May 04, 2011
