DWIGHT WADE JOHNSTON 1961 - 2011 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dwight Wade Johnston. Dwight, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 30, 2011 after a lengthy illness. Dwight was a son, a brother, a father and loved dearly by his family. Predeceased by his father Garnet Sr. and brothers Alvin, Kerry and Garnet Jr. Left behind to cherish his memory is his mother Alceine, brothers Daryle and Kenneth, sisters Wanda and Sandra and many nieces and nephews. Dwight will be greatly missed by all his friends in Winnipeg where he grew up and the many friends that had gotten to know Dwight while living in Victoria. Dwight's family extends their gratitude to Reverend Al, the team at Our Place, and the Cool Aid Society. A memorial service will be held at Our Place Friday, May 6, 2011 at 10:00 a.m., 919 Pandora Avenue, Victoria, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations of any size may be donated to Our Place in Dwight's honour. Time has taken me from you Although not very far I'll be watching through the sunshine And through the brightest star. I'll be watching all of you From the heavens up above So take good care of each other And carry all my love.
