Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILHELMINA ISAACS (nee GIESBRECHT) 1917 - 2011 Wilhelmina Isaacs passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 22, 2011 at the age of 94. Wilhelmina is survived by her son Jim Isaacs (Ellen), daughter Shirley Talbot (Gerry), six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and sister Agnes Peters. Wilhelmina was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, Philip P. Isaacs and her daughter Patricia Magee. Wilhelmina loved to entertain and will be remembered for her awesome pies and baking. Her creativity was boundless, she decorated wedding cakes and sewed wedding gowns, designed her family cottage and produced gorgeous quilts, and later in life turned her hand to oil painting. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses on 5E at St. Boniface Hospital and all her friends who made her life brighter by visiting. A memorial service celebrating Wilhelmina's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 27, 2011 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue (past the perimeter on Portage Avenue).
