Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRAYMOND GISLASON born November 26, 1940 in Riverton, MB Peacefully on June 5, 2011, Raymond Gislason passed away with his family at his side. He leaves to mourn his wife Lucille, of 46 years, daughter Mylinda, son Richard (Lucy), grandchildren Stefan (Dayna), Rensie and Skylar, and great-grandson Arizona. Raymond also leaves sisters Arlene (Sam) and Kristine (Ivan), brother Robert, as well as his pet Sleepy, and numerous family and friends. As per Dad's request, cremation has taken place and no formal service will take place. There will be a come-and-go Tea Party to celebrate Raymond's life on Thursday, June 9 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at home. Raymond was an animal lover, in lieu of flowers, donations in his memory could be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB. Our thanks go out to the staff at Concordia Hospital, 3rd Floor East.

Will miss the smile and firm handshake everytime we met. Ray love and devotion to Lucille, Mylinda and Rich was one I will always remember and respect. I hope my words let you know he was loved and admired by many, and I too will miss him. Was a great man and one im sure you were so proud to call yours. You made a difference Ray and in this life there are some that do and many who don’t, for that you will be remembered and missed by many.
