WILLIAM (BILL) MILFORD November 10, 1923 June 14, 2011 It is with great sadness the family announces that Bill Milford peacefully passed away in Vista Park Lodge on the evening of June 14, 2011. He leaves behind his grandchildren Cameron and Dason Wowk, as well as other family and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Jean (1993) and their only daughter, Terry (2007). Bill was born on November 10, 1923, in Carlisle, Saskatchewan and completed his schooling there. In 1942 he began his lifetime career in telecommunications, with CN Telegraph and CN/CP Telecommunications. His work took him on many extensive travels throughout Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario where he made many friends through the years. He also served for the Canadian Army Tank Corps at Camp Borden where he taught communications and gunnery. He was also a long-time member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #43. Everyone who knew him remembers his hard work and care for his family over the years, and he will be missed and loved by anyone who got to meet him. In keeping with Bill's wishes, cremation has taken place and no funeral service will be held. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Carlisle, Saskatchewan.
