WILLIAM J. NICHOLLS Bill Nicholls passed away suddenly on June 24, 2011 at his residence. He was born on December 12, 1953 and lived most of his life in Winnipeg. He spent several years at Victoria, BC where he was very happy, returning to Winnipeg when his mother's health began to fail. He was predeceased by his father Wilbur (1988) and his mother Dorothy (2003). Bill will be missed by his Aunt Ella and his many cousins, friends and neighbours. Bill had a gentle and kind soul. He lived simply with a great love of all things nature. He was an active member of the Friends of Assiniboine Park Conservatory and the Herb Society of Manitoba. He had a soft heart when it came to an animal in need and provided a home to more than one, including Susie and Charlie. A memorial service will be planned for a later date to celebrate Bill's life. In lieu of flowers, should friends desire, donations can be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
