Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA ASUNCION LAYACAN Peacefully on Sunday, July 17, 2011, with her family by her side, Maria passed away at Seven Oaks General Hospital, at the age of 95. Maria is survived by her daughters: Lucy of the Philippines, Linda, Rorie (Danny) of Winnipeg; daughter-in-law Shirley; sons: Ver, Reny (Enyang), Ador (Tita); son-in-law Ver, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Nicanor; sons Eric and Resty; daughters Delisay and Sitang, and daughter-in-law Shirley. The family would like to thank the staff of the Seven Oaks Hospital 5U1 as well as her homecare workers. Lamay will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2011, from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 22, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Johns Cantius Church, 846 Burrows Avenue, with Fr. Yolando Gamallo officiating.
