MARY DABROWSKI After a brief illness, Mary Dabrowski, age 83, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 24, 2011 at the St. Norbert Personal Care Home with her family by her side. Mary leaves to mourn: daughter Lucy, son Rick (Terry), adopted daughter Kim, granddaughter Jacqueline, grandson Rickie, great-grandchildren Ali and Duncan, and her beloved dog Koko. She was predeceased by her husband Ted and daughter Kitty. Mary's love of animals was second to none. She faithfully fed her birds, rabbits, squirrels and any other Critters that would come along. During her last days, birds would fly to her windowsill to see how she was doing. It is because of her love of animals, the family would strongly appreciate donations be made in Mary's memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society in lieu of flowers. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Norbert Personal Care Home. Special thanks to Sandy who helped us through a very difficult time with her words and caring of our mother. Also to Mandy, an angel on all the resident's shoulders. Lastly, thank-you Denise for being our mother's special friend . A private family interment will be held at a later date.
