DANIEL JOSEPH HOFER Peacefully on Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at 7:00 p.m., Daniel Joseph Hofer passed away to be with the Lord with all his family by his side. Dad was a kind and giving person who loved spending time with all his grandchildren. He really enjoyed playing pool with family and friends. He will be dearly missed. Dad was born in Barrickman, Manitoba in 1938. He moved to Thompson with his wife Susan in 1967. He started his career at INCO in 1970 and retired in 1995. We really want to thank Pastor Dan and his wife Nadine for their comfort in this tough time in our lives. We also want to thank all the staff for their hard work with our dad. He leaves behind his wife Susan, his children Glenn, Brian, Delilah and Darryl, and all his grandchildren, whom he really cherished. Funeral services will take place Monday, August 29 (TODAY) at 2:00 p.m., at the Pentecostal Church, 200 Main Street, Selkirk, Manitoba. Interment to follow in the St. Clements Cemetery, Selkirk. Rest in peace our dear Dad. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
