IRENE ST-HILAIRE Irène St-Hilaire died peacefully, in her sleep at Foyer Valade on August 31, 2011 she was 94 years old. Irene was predeceased in 2003 by her husband of 64 years, Joseph Edouard St-Hilaire, and in 1999 by her son Roger (Brenda). She leaves to mourn her passing, her children Patricia (René Bazinet) Laraine, Elaine, Janine and Denis; her sisters Thérèse Belanger and Marguerite Arpin, as well as 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, extended family and many friends. Irene will be remembered as a loving mother and as a good friend; as well as for her generous heart and her participation in many community activities. Her family would like to thank, not only the staff at Foyer Valade for the care and kind attention they gave our mother, but also the many, many friends and extended family members who visited her regularly and made her final years pleasant and full of love. Go with God good and faithful servant! Funeral mass at St. Boniface Basilica on Saturday, September 10 at 9:45 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Holy Cross Food Bank.
