ALBERT GROSS Albert Arthur Gross passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 20, 2011. Albert was born in Transcona on May 23, 1920. The last 35 years were spent with his wife Victoria on their acreage by Bird's Hill Park. It was here Albert showed us all how to enjoy life. Albert and Vicki were able to travel to different places including the Philippines, Hawaii, Florida and eventually building their winter home in Texas, where they enjoyed many winters and developed lasting friendships. Albert is survived by his wife Victoria, his sons and daughters, grandchildren, great-granddaughters, along with many nieces and nephews. At Albert's request no funeral service will be held. If so desired, a donation may be made in Albert's memory to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, Don't lengthen it now with undue grief, Lift up your hearts, and peace to thee, God wanted me now, He set me free.
