REMPEL April 12, 1923 September 23, 2011 Peacefully on September 23, 2011, Ben passed away at the Morris General Hospital, at the age of 88. He is survived by two sons and three daughters, Joceline Rempel, Rosenort, MB; Diane (Rick Bartel), Riding Mountain, MB; Duane (Arlene Rempel), Rosenort, MB; Maynard Rempel, Rosenort, MB; and Charlene Rempel, Rosenort, MB; daughter-in-law Debbie Chouinard, Sexsmith, AB; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Leona on July 18, 2011, and one son Wesley in 2008. The funeral will be held Tuesday, September 27, 2011, at 10:30 a.m., at the Church of God in Christ Mennonite, Rosenort, MB, with interment at the church cemetery. Viewing will be at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr. Steinbach, MB, on Monday, September 26, at 7:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service.
