HANSA SHAH June 6, 1951 - October 22, 2011 It is with profound sorrow that we the family announce that Hansa passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2011, at St. Boniface Hospital after a short illness. Left behind to mourn her passing are her four children, Ajay, Nitin and Anupa (Vishal). She is also survived by three sisters, three brothers, and several nephews and nieces. Hansa was a kind, caring and loving mother to her children, as well as a friend and guardian to many other children and people in the community. She tirelessly devoted her volunteer services to various social groups, such as the Gujarati Cultural Society and the Gujarati Language School, here in Winnipeg for the last two decades. Funeral service will take place on Monday October 24, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, on McGillivray Blvd. A shanti path (prayers) will be held the same evening at 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Hindu Temple, 854 Ellice Ave., Winnipeg.
