DOLLIE (LEOCADIA) STARSS 1916 - 2011 Dollie Starss passed away in peace on October 25, 2011, at the wonderful age of 95, at West Park Manor. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Mitchell, of 37 years, her parents Stanley and Victoria, brothers Ted and Joe, sister Vera, and her sweet dog Princess. Dollie leaves to mourn her passing her brother Walter, sister Sophie, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews here in Canada, the United States and Europe. Dollie had a wonderful and full life. She enjoyed her petit-point, gardening, baking and her pies were the best around. Evening walks with her little dog Princess were a favourite time of day. Dollie and Mitchell were a twosome - always spending time together. They took many trips to the U.S. and Europe where they had the pleasure of visiting with relatives and sight-seeing. In later years they took up fishing which they both enjoyed. Dollie will be remembered for her beautiful singing voice, smile, kindness and generous spirit. A special thanks goes out to the staff at West Park Manor for their care and compassion shown to Dollie over the past three years. A celebration of Dollie's life will be held Monday, October 31, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, Manitoba.
