SENHIT YOHANNES MEHARI March 27, 1991- October 31st, 2010 Senhit Yohannes Mehari was in her second year of academic studies at the University of Manitoba and was taking pre-business courses. Senhit was intelligent, outgoing but humble, respectful and caring. She was a meticulous planner, hardworking and was serious about her studies and all things that she wanted to accomplish. Senhit always radiated with a broad smile when approaching people and has always wanted to help others in any situations that she could, including tutoring younger students at the Eritrean Community Centre. She liked to volunteer a lot and had been an active member of the annual Folklorama events representing the Eritrean Community at the Africa Pavilion and had served as a Youth Ambassador once at the same event. A prayer and mass will be held in Senhit's honour on October 30th, 2011 at the Eritrean Orthodox Church (303 Lakewood Blvd.) between 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. The Mehari Family would like to thank the Winnipeg Community for their continuous support and generosity during this difficult time.
