ISAURA SOUSA Peacefully on October 31, 2011 after a long battle with breast cancer Isaura passed away, with her family by her side, at the age of 84 years. Isaura is survived by her children Mariana, Ursulina (Adriano), Ana (Jose), Helena (Manuel) of Azores, Alvaro (Teresa), Rui (Dolores); daughter-in-law Altina; grandchildren Carla, Rui (Kristin), Catarina, David, Roberto (Elsa) of Azores, Lidiana (Walter), Ricardo (Dianne) Brampton, ON, Daniel, Sergio, Adilson (Natalie), Marco, Ricardo, Jonathan, Nicholas, Ashley, Britanie; great-grandchildren Dorian, Dante, Alena, Alexia, Braeden, Sydney, Manuel of Azores and Mia; her brother Manuel (Maria), and her sister Cremilde. She was predeceased by her parents Artur and Mariana, her husband Jose, her son Jose Manuel, her great-grandchild Dylon, her son-in-law Joao, her brother-in-law Humberto. Isaura was born in Ribeira Grande, Sao Miguel, Azores. Isaura was a loving and caring mother who truly enjoyed and cherished the company of all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank CancerCare Manitoba Palliative Care Team who attended her with care and compassion. Prayers will be held on Thursday, November 3 at 7:30 p.m., at Immaculate Conception Church, 181 Austin St. N. with Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated on Friday, November 4 at 10:00 a.m. also at the church with Rev. Wladimir Porreca as celebrant. Isaura's beloved grandsons will be the pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Isaura's memory to CancerCare Manitoba. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
