Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryARNOLD (AL) ARVID LUNDGREN October 10, 1919-November 2, 2011 Al passed away in the Deer Lodge Centre on November 2, 2011, at age 92. He was predeceased by his mother and father (Susan and Charles), and sister Florence. He is survived by Caroline, his wife of 64 years; daughters Beverley (Dave), Sharon, Jacquie (Garry), and Kim (Bob); grandchildren Meaghan, Joshua, Janice, Owen, and Emmalie. Al grew up in Wynyard, Saskatchewan. He was in the RCAF during the war, and later received his degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan. Al and family moved to Winnipeg in 1957 where he worked for the City of Winnipeg until his retirement. Al and Caroline lived on Dallenlea Avenue where, on a small street, a group of neighbours created a close-knit and warm community that existed for many years, raising their families and enjoying each others' company. He will be missed by family and friends. His ashes were scattered in the Memory Garden at Neil Bardal funeral home with family in attendance. His family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the Deer Lodge Tower 7 staff for the exceptional care provided to him this past year. If friends so desire, memorial contributions can be made to the Deer Lodge Centre Foundation, 2109 Portage Avenue, R3J 0L3.
