FRANK GIESBRECHT April 19, 1923 - November 1, 2011 On November 1, 2011, our family lost a brother, an uncle, a surrogate father, a friend, a brother in the profession of arms and a life-long legion member. Frank passed away quietly while in the Victoria hospital in Winnipeg, MB, due to failing health. He has left behind a hole in a very large families' heart, a hole which can never be filled. Frank and Flo lived their lives traveling across Canada, and when they showed up at your door for a visit, good times where always had. A veteran of the Second World War, he served his country with pride and followed up with a legion membership starting in 1954, until his death. A service is planned for November 19 at 15:00 in Lowe Farm Manitoba at the Bergthaler Mennonite Church. In lieu of tributes, donations to the Alzheimer's Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation are requested.
