Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNENITA EVANGELISTA (nee GATUS) 1914 - 2011 Peacefully on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Health Sciences Centre, Nenita Evangelista passed away at the age of 97. She is predeceased by her loving husband Remigio. Nenita is survived by her three daughters, Amelia of Virginia, USA, Celia (Jess) of Winnipeg and Tessie of Vancouver, BC; two sons, Rody (Lucy) and Eddie, also of Vancouver, BC. She is also survived by three nieces, Orbita, Angie and Elvie, 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Lamay will take place Friday, November 18, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Edward's the Confessor Roman Catholic Church, 836 Arlington Street. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main Street. Special thanks to Rosie, Camille and Anthony for the special care given to Nenita.
