Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMAURICE FERRAND It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of husband, father, and grandpa, Maurice Ferrand, at age 84 on December 10. Maurice was born in Ste Rose du Lac, receiving his early education there. He was predeceased by his parents and three sisters, Alvina, Lily and Virginia. In his early teens, he moved to Brandon, working at Brandon General, Brandon Mental and later Anglo Canadian Oils which changed names several times. He met and married Shirley Brown and together had three children. Surviving are his wife, two sons in Winnipeg, one daughter of Surrey, BC, three sisters of Brandon, one brother in Winnipeg, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Cremation has taken place and at his request, no service will be held. We love you. Rest in peace.

I spent the last 42 days of dad's life with him on his journey to that other place. Thank You for all your Love and Support. You always went out of your way to help when It was needed. A kind gentle soul. Grandaughter Kelly always enjoyed his company and in particular when camping at Lee River and Neepawa. These early experiences led to her great love of nature and outdoor activities and a career in conservation.
