ESTRELITA NICOLAS VENTURA 1938 - 2011 Lita was born in Guimba in the province of Nueva Eija, Philippines on March 30, 1938 and passed away December 12, 2011. Lita's father, Nicholas Ventura was a veterinarian. Lita moved to Holland in 1967 to work in the garment trade and spoke Dutch. Lita moved to Winnipeg in 1974 and made sportswear. In 1981 Lita studied with Jehovah's Witnesses and was a faithful Witness until her baptism three years ago, and has been a faithful Witness to her death. Lita was a faithful friend, and very humourous, accommodating. Our dear friend nursed many friends tenderly through many illnesses and she will be mourned by her friend, Lortis Valencia, her sister, Consuelo and her many friends in the Fort Rouge congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses as well as many others. She was predeceased by both parents. The Memorial oration will be given Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. at 227 Lakewood Drive.
