Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • I wish to express some thoughts about my Uncle. We knew each other for all of my life, but we only saw each other infrequently as we lived in different cities. He was never a stranger to me, we had a connection that old friends have, we had a special intangible. I guess you call that family. He was kind, funny, considerate and truly wanted everyone around him to feel comfortable and happy. He loved his family. He had a long life, and yet, it is never enough, especially when he brought such joy to those who knew him. He left a wonderful legacy. I send my heartfelt condolences and expression of sadness to my cousins, Faye and Shelley and their families. Willam A. Gorewich, Newmarket, Ontario. - Posted by: William Gorewich (Nephew) on: Jan 09, 2012

  • Faye and all family....there seems never to be a good time to say goodbye...thinking of you and recalling with great fondness the exuberant character and friendly smiling face of Allan; a friend to everyone. Rest in peace. - Posted by: jim and cher (friends) on: Jan 09, 2012

  • Uncle Gore holds a special place in my heart and memories. When I was a child, he entertained us with card tricks and stories. As an adult I came to realize what a truly decent man he was. Although we have not spoken in a while, he will remembered and missed. - Posted by: Don Gilfix (Nephew) on: Jan 08, 2012

  • To Faye, Shelley and the rest of Al's extended family: While sad to hear of Al's passing, will try to be happy for the memories of his life...and that he's gone on to yet a better place. Regards, Randy - Posted by: Randy (friend) on: Jan 07, 2012
