Marla, you have been gone for a year, and we are still trying to cope with our loss and all those unanswered questions that haunt us every day. I can only hope that wherever you are now, you are riding your horse over a meadow with wind blowing in your hair and the sun shining on your beautiful face. You have left such a big hole in our family but we remember you as our loving daughter, sister and mother to Dylan. Cast your eyes to the ocean, Cast your soul to the sea, When the dark nights seem endless, Please remember me. These words were found written in your journal .... and we do remember, every day with love.
