Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELEANOR STERN (nee SODOMSKY) September 26, 1932 - January 1, 2012 On Sunday, January 1, 2012, at Seven Oaks General Hospital, Eleanor Stern, beloved wife of the late Sydney Stern, passed away peacefully at the age of 79 years. Predeceased by her parents Ben and Helen Sodomsky; husband Sydney Stern; sisters Blossom Roth and Estelle Schweid. Eleanor, born in Winnipeg, will be sadly missed by her three sons: Donald (Debbie), Gary (Elzbieta), Richard (Janis) and her five grandchildren, Cora, Alan, Brian, Hannah and Julia. Funeral service will be held at 123 Matheson Ave., Winnipeg, MB on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice.
