Born: Feb 12, 2002
Date of Passing: Jan 01, 2012
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSHUA MICHAEL FEHR 2002 - 2012 Joshua was born at Boundary Trails Hospital on February 12, 2002. His legacy will be cherished by his parents Jake and Naomi Fehr and sister, Morgan. Throughout Josh's life he experienced many miracles. He was a bright and healthy boy until the age of 21 months when he survived a 12 hour seizure. He was diagnosed with leukemia which relapsed at age three. Treatment was completed at the age of six. At the age of seven he had brain surgery to remove seizures. Josh enjoyed four years off chemo and two years seizure free before suddenly becoming ill at the age of nine. Although it seems that illness was a huge part of his life, he faced it with a sparkle in his eye and an unimaginable determination. From the day Josh was born, Jake would pray that Joshua would be a blessing to others and that God would use him to further His Kingdom. He left his footprint on many hearts whether with family, in church, school, or in his travels. His smile and giggles were contagious and he had a magnetic personality and everyone was drawn to him. People could see the love of the Lord through him. Josh joined Jesus peacefully on January 1, 2012 at the age of nine. He will be missed by his parents, sister, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, teachers, classmates and special friends, friends in the medical field and too many others to mention by name. Even though many could not understand his words, he spoke the language of Love. Josh would always be excited when it was time for family camp, so in lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made in Joshua's memory to Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Support Group at: http://www.manitobacandlelighters.ca/ Funeral service will be held on Friday (today) January 6, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Winkler Bergthaler Mennonite Church 252 6th St. with interment at the Reinland Mennonite Church Cemetery in Schanzenfeld.
