Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROSE SEMENCHUK 1919 - 2012 On Wednesday, January 4, 2012, Rose passed peacefully in the presence of her family at the Grace Hospital at the age of 92. Rose was born in Prud'Homme, SK, on December 25, 1919, to Marko and Ann Regush. Left to cherish her memory are her sons Jim and Tom (Diane); daughters, Grace (Rene), Jane (Dennis) and Marilyn (Russ); grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Eugene; son George; and daughter-in-law Lucille. A celebration of Rose's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2012, at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Boulevard. Interment to follow in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Prayer service will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rose's name to the Deer Lodge Foundation, 2109 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, R3J 0L3, where she had been a resident for the past 12 years. The family would like to thank T-6 staff at Deer Lodge Centre and the staff at Grace Hospital for the care and compassion shown to Mom and our family.
