  • Randy was a true friend in the post high school years in Winnipeg. He was always up for adventure and was responsible for many of my favourite memories. We were both in our early twenties when Randy helped me build my cabin. He was invaluable really. We had a great time doing it and we even learned "some" construction skills along the way. I recall one day during the foundation stage when my father came out to inspect our "work". Dad realized some of the floor beams were not perfectly level. Randy was deep into powerlifting at the time and he just lifted these huge beams from a squat position until my father and I could correct that. Why bother with a hydraulic jack when you had Randy? He was the physically strongest man I have ever known. It's sad to say we lost track of each other over the years but he was a great guy and he lives well in my memories. - Posted by: Rob Williamson (old friend) on: Jan 16, 2012

  • A great guy I knew when we were young. Wish I spent more time with Randy later in his life. - Posted by: Gregory P Eiers (Friend) on: Jan 16, 2012

  • Randy and Gerry and myself were brothers for the summer. I remember going early morning fishing and getting back to the cabin so our parents would not find out! We thought it worked!! During the summer we did everything together. I really miss those easy going, laid back, do nothing but having fun summer days! I can honestly say I think of those days quite often and always get a chuckle to think of what we did together.
