BEVERLEY EBERTZ It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Bev on Saturday, January 14, 2012. She will be missed by her loving husband Leonhard of 31 years, her children Leanne, Sheri and Ryan and her precious dog Bailey. Her father Clarence, brothers Paul (Patti), Everett (Cheryl), sister Patricia (Marshall), brother-in-law Ralph (Bonnie), father-in-law Franz and mother-in-law Berta, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Bev was born in Nova Scotia on August 18, 1956. She moved to Winnipeg in 1968 where she attended St. John's High School. Bev was an amazing wife, mother and friend. She took care of not only her family but her friends as well. She was always there for you whether it was for a shoulder to cry on, advice to be given or a person to laugh with. Throughout the years she worked in various industries. Bev played an integral part in the launch of Partylite gifts in Manitoba. Her greatest attribute was her strength in direct sales. However, her main focus in life was her family and friends and the Res-Tech family business. A memorial service will be held on January 20 at 1:30 p.m. at Lutheran Church of the Cross, 560 Arlington St. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Bev will be laid to rest at Chapel Lawn. You've joined your mom now. Take care of her Nannie. We love you.

  • Clarey, Leonhard and family, I was saddened and shocked to hear of Bev's passing. It has been a few years since I have been with her, but I never forgot the day she and her mom and I went out for dinner in downtown Winnipeg. A great day that was lots of fun and laughter. I am sure she will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her. My prayers and thoughts are with you all at this time. - Mary Doyle and Family - Posted by: Mary Doyle, Keswick, Ontario ((Conrad family friend)) on: Jan 19, 2012

  • I met Bev many years ago. We worked together and became great friends. Unfortunately, as families and life became fuller, Bev and I lost touch and reconnected in the past 2 years. Bev had always been a kind, generous and loving person. She loved life and her family and friends. I am so grateful for having known her...she will be deeply missed by so many. My hearfelt sympathy to your family. - Posted by: Darlene Stewart (Friend) on: Jan 18, 2012

  • Such sadness. So hard to comprehend. We had an awesome time together a few years ago when you were here in N.S. It was a night of lots of laughs - a couple of pictures and so much fun. I was so lucky to have had that time with you. - Posted by: Valarie Alexander (Cousin) on: Jan 18, 2012

  • Bev, always good for a hug, a chuckle, and a positive experience. Although her time here was short, one cannot say it was not full. Bev packed each and every day plum full. Always on the go, but always had time when needed. Bev will be missed and cherished forever, as her mark on people's lives was permanent. God bless her. - Posted by: Brian Segal (friend) on: Jan 18, 2012

  • Bev is one of the kindest, smartest and friendliest people I've had the honor of knowing. If I ever needed something, I knew I could call her to help or count on her to have an answer. If I was ever alone, her and her family welcomed me in with loving arms. There was never a moment she couldn't make you laugh, a never a moment she would let you cry without her comfort. She was, is, an amazing person and has an amazing family to shine through. I will miss her. - Posted by: Pamela (Friend/Mentor) on: Jan 18, 2012
