Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • Joanne was a regular member of the St. Anthony's Bridge group. She enjoyed playing bridge so much and she cared about all the members of the group. As her health deteriorated I always admired the way she came and played when often it must have been very hard for her. I am glad I had a long phone call with her a week before she died. She will be missed at the bridge group. - Posted by: Brenda Montgomery (Bridge friend) on: Jan 29, 2012

  • Joanne was a longtime friend of my mother Nola's, and since a child I have always referred to her as "Auntie Jo". I loved her laugh and her special brand of joie de vivre, especially loved hearing her in conversation with my mom. Her high energy and determination was remarkable and though I'll miss her dynamic, her spirit will live on in my heart. - Posted by: Diana Halter (friend) on: Jan 28, 2012
