Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBRYAN MCINNES Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on July 20, 1941, and sadly passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 4, 2012, at the age of 70. He is predeceased by wife, Mae Li; parents Ellen and Tom; and brother-in-law, Tony Koncan. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Morgan Louise Sharpe (husband Jeff, sons Lane and Will); sisters, Edith Ardelian (Bob, Christine and Chris Wedgewood), and Lyle Koncan; brother Neil (Cathy); and his dog Vera. He had a natural talent and a sense of perfection with a creative spirit that enabled him to excel in any undertaking. In his earlier years he pursued a career in graphic design with The Graphic Group. His love of working with his hands led him to a career as a set carpenter working in film and theatre. He was a loyal and hardworking member of the I.A.T.S.E. union for 30 years spending many years with M.T.C. as Master Carpenter. Bryan will always be remembered by all who knew him as a kind, gentle, generous man and a loving father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend who lived everyday to its fullest. He loved to fly fish, sail and for many years, spent his free time at the family cottage at Bird Lake. We will miss you, your company and your sense of humour. We'll love you forever. A celebration of life with family and friends will be held at Manitoba Theatre Center on April 22 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Time is but the stream I go a-fishing in. It's thin current slides away, but eternity remains. -Henry David Thoreau

I love you Bryan and even though I did not see you very much over the years, I have fond memories of being at Alexander Ave. in the summers with you and the rest of the McInnes's when we were kids and the killer sense of humour you all had! I can still see and hear you laugh. The last time I saw you, you were so happy to see Dad and to spend time with him. That was precious. - Posted by: Penny Pollock (cousin) on: Apr 03, 2012

Dear Bryan, we have been friends forever and we will miss you ! You have left us with so many good memories, of parties , when you almost moved to Vancouver, making our famous tape, sailing on the Ichiban with your dad and uncle, you and Lee drinking (bilge water) or (pumping fluid) while trying to keep your boat afloat, the costume party, Surprising Lee on his birthday, visiting Morgan as a baby in her antique white crib that you lovingly painted with a huge RED CROSS on the head board and so very many many more happy times with you. We can only remember the happy times with you as that is all we had! And now we will remember that you are happy with Mai Li now. You will remain in our hearts forever. - Posted by: Lee and Gail Radke (friends for 60 years) on: Mar 19, 2012
