It has been so long. Uncle Steve and I have shared a little bit of rye before noon and it was the best in the world. Uncle Steve, Aunty Pauly were my sweet life memories from the flat Lands! Remembering the times you visited to the west coast were the best. Once visiting after my tour in the middle east I went to Uncle Steve's around about eight am and we ended up having a few little Rye's .... best time ever! - Posted by: Gerry Humeny (Nephew) on: Jun 03, 2013

My sincerest condolences to Cathy, Stephen and family. I know growing up on Keenleyside Street, provided some great times, and indeed “The Zemlas” were also treated like family. I for one have many great memories of Mr. Chmara, and although never forgotten, will be sadly missed. Thanks Mr. & Mrs C. - Posted by: Brad Zemla (Family Friend) on: Mar 16, 2012

Mr. Chmara always treated me as a member of the family. We all can learn and admire him for the way he treated people with dignity & respect. I cherish the wisdom he provided me and the humour he shared. It is impossible to sum up how his presence contributed in such a positive way for all those who were fortunate enough to experience his kindness. My condolences to the Chmara family. - Posted by: Steve Webb (Family Friend) on: Mar 15, 2012
