February 9, 1920 - March 15, 2012 St. Francis de Sales Manitoba Catholic Church of the Deaf (MCCD) will be having a Memorial Mass for our beloved Sister Fiola, Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 1:00 p.m., Deaf Centre Manitoba Forrest Nickerson Theatre. Sr. Fiola was one of the founders who established Kiwanis Centre of the Deaf, presently known as Deaf Centre Manitoba. She was the administrator of M.C.C.D., 1966 to 2010.

As a new immigrant to Canada in 1981, Sister Fiola was a great support to me. She helped me to get and apartment, job, and ESL classes. I will always remember the help she gave me to start my new life in Canada.
