Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKEITH WILSON (CASEY) CAMPBELL May 4, 1921 March 17, 2012 Casey dearly loved and was proud of his family: his loving wife, Liz and his stepson, Richard Scott (Masami), his children: Angus (Diane), Judy (Kim Davies), Mary Jo (Pat Heale) and Cathy (Dennis McNabb), his grandchildren: Robin Clegg (Brent), Colin Campbell (Jessica Norman), Wendy Rading (Jesse), Jessica and Morgan Davies, Michael, Jamie and Mary Heale and two (nearly three) great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his children's mother, Mary Campbell of Winnipeg. Keith attended Ravenscourt in Winnipeg, where he made special, life long friends. He graduated from Queen's University and then became a Chartered Accountant. After years of working and serving the community in Winnipeg, he moved to Vancouver in 1975 where he retired as a senior financial executive in 1986. Among his many pastimes, he particularly loved racing sailboats and enjoyed great success. From a Prairie sailor he adapted well to the ocean and became a successful member of the west coast sailing community. He contributed to the sport in many ways and he was particularly proud of being a founding and life time member of the ZigZag Yacht Club, his role in the creation of the harbour and facilities for the Gimli Yacht Club as Chair of the 1967 Pan Am Games sailing event and being an Honorary Life Member of the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club. The family is grateful for the care provided by the staff at Brock Fahrni. We also give special thanks to Paul Mcrae for all his help to Liz and Casey. A celebration of Casey's life will be held on Saturday, March 31 at 11:15 a.m. at the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club, 3811 Point Grey Rd., Vancouver.
