Condolences & Memories (9 entries)

  • Oh boy, do I have some stories of this lady~ all great, funny and full of laughter...so nice to read all these tributes...I just found out about her passing when I went to send her a message on her Facebook. What a shock!! I hung out with her in high school and we partied and laughter was always ongoing! When we shared an apartment in Hamilton in the 70's I saw her cooking "blood sausage" in a frying pan and just about.....well, lets just say it was gross! She laughed and laughed about that! Dear Pat...thank you so much for all your help when I lived with you ...you were and are a dear sweet, kindhearted angel ~...you will be missed...I'm glad Tina and I got to talk to you years ago and catch up now and then on Facebook ! Love you xoxox - Posted by: Deborah Carr (High School friend from Sudbury, ontario) on: Apr 11, 2013

  • I will always remember the good laughs Pat, you brought cheer to many people. You were like a sister to me. It was fun to share the house when we ere posted in Trenton with so many laughs and good times. Rest in peace Patty. - Posted by: Rob Pasetka (Friend, roomie from the air force days.) on: Jun 28, 2012

  • The most fun-loving, crazy, rambunctious roomie I ever knew. The parties were great and the laughs greater. 437 Sqn was never the same. Keep them laughing Pat. - Posted by: CA Cooper (Friend/co-worker) on: Jun 19, 2012

  • Pat - what can you say about Pat? She taught so many of us to laugh, cry, love, drink and never worry about being too excited or overly exuberant ... about anything. If there were only one thing she shared with me - (but there were many) - it was to never give a damn about what others thought, did - said or worried about... as long as YOU were having fun, not harming others and doing what you loved. I will never forget your charm, grace, perogies, mannerisms and ''quirkienesses'' - Lord love you, Pat - as so many of us do. xxxxx forever, girl. - Posted by: Donna B. • Pat will always hold a place in my heart and in my memories, she was such a vibrant, loving person and she will truly be missed. We shared many fun times and stories around the tables in Germany while enjoying a glass or two of white wine....I miss those days and I miss you Pat! The world has lost a beautiful voice but heaven has gained an unmistakable and contagious laugh..till we see each other again, take care my friend....... - Posted by: Carol Johnston (Jasper) (Friend/Co-worker) on: Jun 05, 2012

  • I met Pat while flying with 437Sqn in the late '80's. Tall, blond, beautiful on the outside, generous, gregarious, warm and loving on the inside. Several memories of flights we did together are as fresh as if they happened yesterday. Shooting pool in Tenerife, singing with the crew on the stage of The Buchaneers Pub, letting me sleep on a leg of a flight because of the night before! She made perogies by the dozen one weekend for a perogie party at my house and my neighbours couldn't get enough of them. A beautiful soul. She met me and my 9 month old son in Jasper. She gushed over him and the picture I have of her smile and sparkling eyes, I will have forever. She is a friend whom you never forget regardless of the time between and now she will always be remembered. I am blessed to have had her friendship. • I became friends with Pat in the military and we were roommates when I was posted to Winnipeg. She was a great lady and I am very saddened by her passing. - Posted by: Lorraine Saunders (Friend) on: Jun 01, 2012

  • I worked with Pat at Wapasu Creek Lodge for 3 1/2 years. I first met her in the bakery. She was such a kind, generous soul who took me under her wing. We become roommates shortly after and have been for the last 3 years. She loved to laugh, I know this because I could hear her crack up almost every night when she watched tv. We had many coffee nights and chats. We always seemed to have a good game of note tag going on between our doors. Some of them of course asking me to fix her computer. She was always there for me and I am going to miss her so very much. She was an amazing person and I know will be an even more amazing angel. Always in my heart Patsy Zooloo Rest in Peace my dear friend. Love you - Posted by: Carol Byvank (Friend/Roommate) on: Apr 03, 2012
