LOPEZ 1922 - 2012 Ruperta Manglicmot Lopez, our beloved Inang, peacefully passed away early Tuesday, March, 27, 2012, at the age of 90 years old, with her loving family by her side in Winnipeg. She was born on Tuesday, March 21, 1922 to her late parents, Pilar and Camilo Manglicmot in San Antonio, Zambales, Philippines. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Anastacio Fernandez Lopez and their son, Lorenzo; her siblings: Binyang, Leopoldo, Felicidad, Insiang, Martina and Salvador, and her great-grandchildren: Darius, Charlie August and Charlie Day. Inang was a strong yet kind woman who was creative, adventurous and had great business sense. In the Philippines she owned and operated her own wholesale business and along with her husband provided a good life for their children. She loved music and was both a singer and a pianist. Ruperta adored her family and the company of good friends and was very proud to see the 4th generation born, her great-grandchildren. Carrying on her legacy, she is survived by her children: Perlita (Cesario Sr.), Ortenza, Marilou (Rick), Leonilo (Nemesia) and daughter-in-law, Betty; her grandchildren: Mary Lou (Remo), Cesario Jr., Valerie (Charlie), Cesar, Donna, Jun-Jun, Phoebe Ann, Don Anastacio, Loren Beth, Leonisis, Lerwyne and Larizza; her great-grandchildren, Regine, Don Lorenzo, Amedeo, Chaz, and her surviving brother, Raymundo joined with many family members around the world. The Family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Kraut, Dr. Dawhanik, Dr. Araneda and the Health Sciences Centre staff who helped our Inang. Lamay will be held on Good Friday, April 6, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 Midnight at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens at 4477 Main St. with Prayer Service from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Knox United Church at 400 Edmonton St.
