KENNETH JOHN COLLIER It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Kenn Collier, beloved husband of Joyce Collier, on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at the Portage District General Hospital at the age of 79 years. There will be a Celebration of Life Service held on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the MNP Building on Island Park in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, Canada. I met Ken Collier when he served on the Admissions Committee of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Manitoba. Ken's was a voice of reason and concern especially when it came to the under-representation of rural students in Medicine. He was the moving force in SCOMM's production of a Recruitment Video aimed at rural students promoting medicine as a profession.
