Back in 1975, when I was 12 or 13 yrs old. I remember Jack so clearly sitting in his favorite chair enjoying his favorite TV show. He was always generous, providing chinese food or pizza while I visited Todd. I'll never forget him playing football with his boys and me at the football field accross the street. I never knew he could run that fast. Time passes so quickly, my own father passed away in the last year and I started reflecting on so many memories, it was so much fun playing sponge hockey, baseball and football with the Martin boys. My father was transfered every year, from city to city and and our last move beside the Martin family was such a blessing for me. I remember Jack as a good provider and a righteous man. Jesus said the righteous would be ressurected in Jehovah's kingdom. May that hope give you the comfort it gives me. My condolances to Elsie, Al, Wayne and Todd. I heard of “Uncle Al’s” passing through Dad, and as I looked at his picture on Passages, I was immediately catapulted into the past reliving the special memories I have of each of you as we were growing up and visiting each other’s homes throughout the years. Those memories always make my heart smile! I am sorry for your loss. Love, Adele. - Posted by: Adele K. Fitzgerald () on: Apr 13, 2012

My dear Elsie; SO sorry to hear about Al. Last time we spoke, all was fine. Al was a generous & giving man & was shocked to see his notice. From my family to yours I wish you all the best, and will see you soon. - Posted by: Linden Fitzgerald (friend) on: Apr 10, 2012
